LAYApalooza at CSLA on November 21st
November 15th, 2009Hey. Remember when the LAYAs paloozed at Vroman’s last June? Remember the GAMES? Remember the PRIZES? Remember the FUN TIMES THAT WERE HAD BY ALL? Well we’re about to do it again, this time at the California School Librarian Association Conference on Saturday, November 21st! Our show is on at NOON in the exhibit hall of the Ontario Convention Center!

Echo Park Reading + Inspiring Young Voices
November 8th, 2009Michael Reisman, Jordanna Fraiberg and I had the privilege of reading and conducting a writing workshop at the Echo Park Library to celebrate Teen Read Week. Thanks to stellar librarian Wendy McPherson, who organized the program, we had a huge enthusiastic crowd and were treated to new and inspiring voices of the talented young writers who attended the writing workshop.
